-The Lost Route-

As Ash walked along the road towards Saffron City, a mysterious mist covered up the trail. Ash wasn't very sure on where he was going so he took a wrong turn towards Saffron City. After many hours of walking, Ash was then convinced that he was lost. As he waited until the mist cleared up, he took out his map. "Oh no, we're lost. We're going to Sunny Town instead!" Ash said aloud feeling very angry. It would take many hours until they could get to Saffron City, so Ash decided to stay in Sunny Town for a night. As he was walking, he spotted a shadow behind a tree. Ash ran around the tree to see it. It was a Pokemon. Ash took out his PokeDex, which identifies it as a Bulbasaur.

"Wow, a Bulbasaur, grass types are weak against fire, so go Charmander!" Ash said as he threw his Pokeball. Charmander popped out of his Pokeball. "Char Char!" Charmander spoke as it emerged out of its Pokeball. "Charmander, use your Flamethrower to weaken the Bulbasaur!" Ash shouted as Charmander waited for a command. Charmander used its Flamethrower, but missed the Bulbasaur as it used its Vine Whip. Charmander tried to dodge the tentacles of the Vine Whip, but got tangled in it. Bulbasaur started to slam the tangled Charmander on the ground and into the trees. Ash tried to help his Charmander out of the vines, but the Bulbasaur used its Razor Leaf attack on him causing him to stand out of the way. As Charmander was loosing hope, the flame on his tail grew to a gigantic size. Ash took out his PokeDex and found that it was the Rage attack.

Ash put back his PokeDex and watched as Charmander pulled free from the vines and ripped the vines apart only to use it as his own whipping weapon. The Bulbasaur then used its Razor Leaf, but Charmander usd the ripped vines to whip the leaves away from him. Bulbasaur then used its tackle attack only to get Charmander use its vines to wrap it up. Charmander then swung the tangled Bulbasaur into the trees causing it to faint. Ash then threw his Pokeball at it to catch it. Ash pulled back Charmander and went on his way to Sunny Town. As morning came, Ash woke up all ready for another big adventure.

Ash had to let his Pokemon get full restored for anymore battles, so he headed towards the city's PokeCenter. As Ash got there, there was an explosion that knocked Ash down. Ash got up and ran into the PokeCenter to find some Team Rocket members. "Hey what are you doing?" Ash shouted to one of the Rocket member, as he was about to hit Nurse Joy. "We are Team Rocket! We steal and sale rare Pokemon that we capture. So are you looking towards our Pokemon battle?" One of the members joked as he took out his Pokeballs. "Yeah, lets battle!" Ash replied to the members. "Fine, we'll fight you with all our Pokemon!" The members said as they threw out all their Pokeballs. "All of them, fine!" Ash said he threw off his backpack.

"Wartortle, Mew, Pikachu, Butterfree, Beedrill, Clefairy, Jigglypuff, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Geodude, Sandshrew, and Pikablu attack!" Ash shouted as he threw out all of his Pokeball in his backpack. All of Rocket's Pokemon came out of their Pokeballs as Ash's Pokemon emerged from their Pokeballs. "Attack, all of you, do your best against Team Rocket's Pokemon!" Ash ordered as he ran to Nurse Joy to help her up. "All of your Pokemon are putting up a really good fight. But while your Pokemon are holding Team Rocket in, we must try and help all of the injured Pokemon." Nurse Joy said as she ran towards the emergency room full of injured Pokemon. "Why are these Pokemon all injured? Aren't they suppose to be fully restored by devices that help give it full restore?" Ash questioned Nurse Joy as he looked at all of the Pokemon.

"You see, these devices aren't working because of Team Rocket's explosion. The explosion destroyed our electricity supplies. So we don't have any electricity at all." Nurse Joy said sadly. "Wait, I have a solution." Ash said as he rushed into the Pokemon battle. Ash Pokemon just beaten Team Rocket's Pokemon. The Rocket members were fleeing for their safety now. "Return!" Ash commanded as he pulled back every single Pokemon that he had. Ash rushed to Nurse Joy. "What are you going to do?" Nurse Joy said in curiosity.

"Okay, Pikachu go!" Ash said as he shot Pikachu out of his Pokeball. "Pikachu, use your Thundershock attack to get the electricity generators working again." Ash commanded. Pikachu found the generator and used his attack to get it running again. All of the Pokemon at the end of the day was all healed and ready to go home to their owners. "Thanks for helping me out Ash, and good luck on your journey!" Nurse Joy said as Ash was on his new bike towards Saffron City waving good-bye. Ash was in for more adventures as he collects new and powerful Pokemon. His next stop was Saffron City.
